Athena – Dutch Herder

Age: 1 year.
Size: Medium.
Sex: Female.
Good with other dogs: Yes.
Good with cats: Unknown.
Good with children: 12+

Athena is an amazingly striking Dutch herder girl who has come from the stray kennels.

Athena is a shy girl at first, and remains a reserved presence, however she is environmentally confident and takes a lot of confidence from other dogs, so may be best suited to a home with another.

She does not display huge drive for her breed, so wouldn’t suit at this point an intense working home. She may come along and gain confidence and be able to do sports.

Athena would be best suited to a home that understands her breed type and know what may drive her in the future as her confidence grows, but not have expectations on her to become a working dog.

Athena is a sweet and quiet girl (yet to hear her bark!) and walks nicely on the lead. She has walked out with many dogs and met dogs on lead without issue. She is quiet and clean in her kennel.

Athena is very food motivated but not shown huge reaction to toys at present – this may change outside of a kennel environment.

Could you be the proud new parents of Athena?
