Dave – Blind Collie

Age: 5 years.
Size: Medium.
Sex: Neutered Male.
Good with other dogs: Yes, but would prefer to live as a solo dog.
Good with cats: Unknown, possibly.
Good with children: Adult only home.

Dave is a beautiful border collie who sadly is blind due to a genetic condition. This has been thoroughly checked by the vet and caused him no discomfort – he is an amazing boy who gets around really well!

Dave is such a cuddly and affectionate boy, he melts the hearts of everyone that meets him. He is such a soppy chap who doesn’t let his disability stop him from making friends!

Dave is good meeting dogs out and about, but would prefer to live as a solo dog due to this being what he’s used to and needing extra structure due to his vision.

Dave needs a caring home who can be mindful of his poor vision, however he really does adapt really well and still enjoys his walks! He is not an ‘on the go’ collie and enjoys a good nap and down time.

Experience with visually impaired dogs would be useful but not essential.

Could you be the proud new parents of Dave?
