Dobby is a sweet saluki boy who has joined us from the stray kennels!
Dobby is a firm favourite with volunteers, thanks to him being easy on the lead and sweet to walk! He gets along well with all his friends here at the kennels; and is often used as a calm stooge dog for new arrivals and dogs in training due to his placid nature.
Dobby however does exhibit some Low level guarding of high value items such as toys and bones in the home so this will need managing – and therefore wouldn’t be suitable for children in the home. We expect this to subside in time when he settles and feels secure, but he will need a home experienced with dogs in order to act responsibly with him and not try to snatch bones off him!
Dobby is a handsome boy and would likely do well living with another dog for company.
