Lola is a beautiful young Mastiff/Cane cross who has come to us from the stray pound. Abandoned with her puppy, and a large hernia which desperately needed operating on, it is no wonder, that when she first arrived, she was petrified and sad 🙁
It took several days to completely win her trust, and it was clear this girl really was suffering from a broken heart 😭 How could she be let down so badly like this?
Thankfully we have an amazing foster home for this lovely girl, and to see her week by week, gain that confidence, sparkle, and joy back in her step, has been so wonderful to watch 😍
Lola is a complete cuddle bug, who loves snoozing, hugs, walks.. and being with her favourite people!
Lola can be nervous of meeting new people, but that has changed so drastically over the weeks, and now she has even worked up to going camping, and spending time with a vast array of people.
In kennels, Lola has loved meeting dogs for a rough and tumble, she can still be strong and vocal when meeting some dogs on the lead, but this is, all the time, improving, and any adopter would continue to get help from our trainer if they felt they needed it.
Lola will need an adopter experienced with large guarding breeds, and be responsible, physically fit and able to manage a large size dog. What she gives in return, is masses of fun, love, and the chance for so many adventures together!
