Otto is a gorgeous German Shepherd puppy who came to us from the stray kennels.
Otto is a bright and intelligent boy who is thriving by being in a foster home that enjoys training him – he will absolutely need to go to a home that understands shepherds and are willing and able to put the hard work in for training a young working line breed.
Otto is a nervous boy, especially of men at first. But he does live with a man and woman now so it can be done, he just takes longer to warm up to them. He will need a patient home, sympathetic to nervous rescue dogs, and willing to help with Otto’s socialisation without pushing or expecting too much from him.
Otto currently lives with another dog and enjoys the company of other dogs, he may benefit from having a confident, stable dog to bounce and learn from.
Otto knows many basic commands such as sit, down, wait, come, middle etc and is keen to learn, he is currently half way through a 6 week puppy course.
Otto does not like being left alone, this is being worked on and built up in foster, but must be considered for a new home. He will pace and become distressed.
Otto is a really fantastic looking shepherd with lots of love to offer – he would suit an experienced shepherd home with lots of space and time for him, his future family are going to be very lucky!!

We rehome to maximum 90 minutes drive from our centre in Gloucestershire.
