Pip is a gorgeous pedigree border collie girl who came to us after she was too much for her previous owners.
Pip is an energetic and ball obsessed collie who needs a semi to active home experienced with this high drive, and sometimes highly strung breed! She has missed out on some basic training so needs to start again in some areas..
We have a full vet history for pip and pedigree information.
Pip walks nicely on a lead, but for some reason is averse at times to having it put on! Some days she doesn’t mind, other days she will put up a resistance – this needs patient handling and getting cross with her won’t help! Once she’s out however she is a different dog and meets everyone by rolling on her back.
Pip has not lived with cats and can be jealous with other dogs in a home environment so is best suited to a solo dog home.
Pip is ball obsessed and someone with knowledge and understanding will be able to use this drive for training and getting the best out of her! She is not particularly food motivated in our environment.
Pip travels well and has been good for our vet, although in her history it has said she has been fearful of vets so will need managing in this area in future.
This is a really striking and wonderful girly, but she absolutely needs to be adopted by those experienced with this breed and willing to start from scratch with her in some areas.
Could you be the proud new parents of Pip?
