Zeus is an incredibly good looking German Shorthaired Pointer who has come to us from the stray kennels.
Typical of the breed, this lad has a lot of energy and will need an enthusiastic and active family to match. He is ball obsessed so could also make a fantastic sports prospect.
Zeus is very intelligent, and will pick up new skills easily, he is fantastic offlead and has very good manners around other dogs. He can be strong on the lead at times, being a hound he loves to follow a scent! But his loose lead is coming on nicely. He will however still need a fit and able handler due to his size.
Zeus was a skinny boy on arrival and has been building up his weight, this may need to be continued in a home, he is doing well on raw food mixed with kibble currently but doesn’t appear to have any digestive issues.
Zeus would love an outgoing, outdoorsy family for lots of adventures, fun, and running! Breed experience, or similar would be advantageous to be aware of a pointers drives and needs. This is not a couch potato dog!
