Emil, affectionately known as Milo in his foster home, is a stunning young boy originally from Romania who has spent time with us working on his training and confidence. After several months in foster care, he is finally ready to find the forever home he deserves. His foster family, who have cared for over 40 foster dogs over the years, describe Milo as one of their absolute favourites—and it’s easy to see why. Milo is a handsome mixed-breed boy, possibly with some Husky heritage, blessed with a beautiful soft coat and striking, expressive eyes. He is affectionate, playful, intelligent, and full of personality.
❤️ What Milo’s foster family loves about him • Fully house-trained and clean in the home • Affectionate and loving with his people • Great fun to be around and always eager to join in family life • Loves long walks, adventures, and exploring new places • Enjoys training and learns quickly • Gets on brilliantly with other dogs and loves canine company • Happy to settle down and snooze with his doggy friends after a busy day • Has almost completed his Bronze training award and continues to make excellent progress 🐕 The home Milo is looking for Milo is still very much a big puppy and is looking for an active, committed family who can continue the training and structure he has already received. His ideal home would offer: ✔️ A secure, generously sized garden ✔️ One or more medium-to-large dog companions ✔️ Owners who enjoy training and enrichment activities ✔️ Plenty of exercise and adventure ✔️ Patience and consistency as he continues to mature Milo would thrive with owners who enjoy working with their dogs. His foster family believe he would excel in activities such as agility, advanced obedience, or further training classes. 🚶 Walks and training Milo loves being out and about. He enjoys long walks, sniffing adventures, and exploring the countryside. Like many clever young dogs, he occasionally likes to turn getting his lead on into a game and can be mischievous if he thinks he can get away with it! His foster family have been working hard on this, and he has made excellent progress, but his new family will need to continue reinforcing his training. His recall is improving but remains selective, so he is currently only let off lead in secure dog fields. 🏡 Around the home Milo has excellent house manners overall. He is clean indoors and can be left alone for short periods without issue. As a typical adolescent dog, he may still help himself to unattended food or investigate items left within reach if he becomes bored. Consistency and management have helped him make great improvements, and he is eager to learn. 👨👩👧👦 Children and visitors Although Milo has lived with children previously, he is a large, enthusiastic dog who can be boisterous and may accidentally knock over younger children. For this reason, we feel a home with teenagers or adults would be most suitable. Milo is generally very friendly with people but can occasionally react fearfully towards some men. This behaviour appears to be based on uncertainty rather than aggression and has never escalated beyond barking and noise. He forms positive relationships with people over time and will need owners who understand and can confidently continue building his confidence. 🌳 A secure garden is essential Milo is one of the most talented escape artists we’ve encountered! He can clear 5-foot walls with ease and has even been known to use sheds as launch pads to visit neighbouring dogs. Because of this, his new home must have exceptionally secure fencing and boundaries. 🐾 Other animals Milo cannot live with cats or small furry animals due to his strong chase instincts. 💕 Milo is a truly special young dog with a huge heart, a brilliant sense of fun, and so much potential. With the right family, he is going to make an incredible companion and loyal best friend for years to come. Could you be Milo’s perfect match?
