Age: DOB 08/07/25 Size: small Sex: male Good with other dogs: yes, lives with other dogs, very active so may not suit another senior Good with cats: unknown Good with children: 10+ and dog savvy Although Louis has been around small children, we would prefer older due to his training needs* younger visiting would be fine Louis is an active little bean terrier mix who needs a committed, active and engaging family to grow up in and complete! He is a clever little boy and learns quickly, however he has a lot of terrier traits and needs these stimulated and managed! He wouldn’t suit someone wanting a just a white fluffy dog and expecting more of a Bischon/shitzhu temperament Here is what his lovely foster family have to say about him: This beautiful little boy Louis came to us for fostering on 16th Jan and boy was he wild! Little training and no doggy manners but such a quick learner. He was so full of energy that 2 good walks a day helped to channel that .He loves to play , with us, our rescue dog Charlie and any toys. He will pinch anything he can find so everything goes up out of the way. That is just the puppy in him but he has learnt ‘leave’ and will now give it up. Basic commands ,sit, leave, come and lead walking training all on going and he picks things up so quickly but will need to be continued in is forever home. He’s been great with our grandchildren , 3 year old twin boys and their 6 year old sister .This we call the mad house as they have a Patterdale and Retriever as well so very full on but Louis was not fazed. Louis sleeps in his crate at night no problem. He wears a harness and settles brilliantly in a car with his seat belt on and will wear his warm coat on very cold days. He is a lovely happy pup who will make someone a loving companion or family pet and will repay your kindness and love 10 times over. Could you be the proud new parents of Louis?
